Sharing Every Good Gift

My front flower bed is almost completely shaded on the north side of my house. I have more flowers in there this year than I have before.  As I was watering the other day, I noticed that many of them are leaning out as far as they can to get as close to the light as they can.    The fact that the plants will move towards the light is absolutely amazing to me and I realized that my little plants were trying to teach me a lesson.  Most of those plants in that flower bed are permanently bent toward that light. They spend the entire day reaching for the sun.  I started to wonder what I would look like if I constantly kept my focus on the light. What would I look like if I always focused on the good and always recognized my blessings?  And then, of course, my mind went to what I would look like if I spent all. day. long. reaching as far as I could to get closer to THE Son.   Not so ironically as I was doing some reading this morning I came across some words of wisdom from Dal
